Project Overview: This 100 year old, family-run and Sicilian extra virgin olive oil company has been looking to expand its business into the US market. Working with their American importer, Food Guru was actively involved in designing their website and connecting them to a budget-friendly web developer. We produced their homepage company video, photography, and reviewed their written content on all of their pages. Food Guru was also hired to develop their social platforms from the ground up. We used our own online networks to build a following, plus have executed on marketing strategies to create interest around the Bag-in-Box concept. One of these strategies include the Barbara #SummerBBQSeries for grilling up foods using their high quality extra virgin olive oil. Another strategy involves building an online relationship with bloggers/influencers, then sending them product to increase exposure around Barbara Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Results: The website has been completed and new content, like: recipes, resource, testimonials, etc. are added frequently. With no followers for their social media when we started, we have been creating/curating recipes, health related content, and educating the community about the story of the Barbara Family and how the Bag-in-Box preserves the freshness and flavorful taste. Food Guru has connected with bloggers by making and posting their olive oil recipes. In addition, Food Guru has a 100% response rate for getting the product into influencers hands for tasting and exposure.
