Debbie Sultan

Debbie got her chops for marketing going while working with high-growth, regional, and national retail chains. She created executed a variety of cross-promotions, grand openings, and guerrilla marketing campaigns. Debbie shifted her focus toward smaller retail businesses when she moved to the SF Bay Area by acting as a freelance Marketing Director. In 2013, this baby-boomer co-founded Food Guru with her millennial daughter, Ariel. At Food Guru, Debbie heads the Social Marketing Department, targeting online influencers and customers for Food Guru Channel, Cooking Guru web-series, and clients in the food/beverage space.

Arial Sultan

Ariel Sultan

Ariel is the Co-Founder of Food Guru, and heads up the video production department. After graduating from NYU with a Film & TV degree from Tisch School of the Arts, Ariel worked at The Discovery Channel, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and BBDO (NY/SF). At Food Guru, Ariel develops marketing strategies for Food Guru and clients, plus creates all the visual content – video, photos, promotions, and digital posters, for Food Guru Channel, Cooking Guru web-series, and all their food/beverage clients. Additionally, she is the Co-Producer for the independent feature documentary, Greywater (currently in production), which has received support from Tribeca Film Institute and Sundance Film Institute. The film is expected to be release in 2017.

Evan Scott Moore

Evan Scott Moore

Evan is a professional Video Editor and independent filmmaker from Southern California, who grew up making videos as a pastime. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production from Boston University in 2013, he has been shooting and editing videos for small businesses all over the US and abroad. Evan is an invaluable member of the Food Guru with his artisan approach, he has helped craft the stories, direction, and message with many of Food Guru video stories, Kickstarter videos, Kraut Source web-series, and Cooking Guru web-series.

Sam Warfield

Sam Warfield

Sam is a Music Composer, Audio Engineer and Sound Designer who has worked for film, web series, video games, and other media businesses. He received his masters in composition from NYU Steinhardt where he was awarded the Alan Menken scholarship for film scoring. Sam works closely with Ariel to customize the musical pieces for many of Food Guru’s videos.

Glenn Douglass

Glenn Douglass

Glenn first discovered his passion for self-expression and moviemaking while studying at the University of California Santa Cruz. After graduating with a degree in Film and Digital Media, his wanderlust took over, where he traveled world with his camera. His passion for outdoor adventure helped him hone in his photography skills in the mountains and backcountry. He settled in the San Francisco Bay Area to work alongside talented teams of artists and adventurers. Glenn has an eye for detail and assists Ariel in capturing the beauty, color, and “food porn” with Food Guru and Cooking Guru video projects.

Carol Aregger

Carol Aregger

Carol is a Web developer and Designer. She started out in print and migrated to the web in the early 2000’s. Her body of work includes Food Guru and Cooking Guru websites, as well as Sonoma Creamery, the makers of Sonoma Jack Cheese. She recently collaborated with Food Guru to create the website for Barbàra Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Karen is a professional Writer/Photographer who specializes in crafting creative content for artisan food and beverage professionals. Her diverse background includes: Freelance Journalist, Blogger, and Marketing Strategist. Karen’s popular blog, Farminista’s Feast, is a forum for sharing her passionate commitment to a locavore lifestyle, sustainable agriculture, and seasonal cooking. As the host of our Cooking Guru web-series, Karen loves connecting with audiences to bring easy, tasty, homemade meals from kitchen to table.
